Full-Time & Part-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
£89.38 per day (£13.75 per hour)

We're currently recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) at a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and emotionally.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting teachers in delivering adapted lessons to meet students' individual needs
* Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who require additional support
* Promoting a calm, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
* Helping students with their social skills, emotional regulation, and behavioural development
* Preparing classroom materials and assisting in lesson planning
* Encouraging independence and boosting student confidence
About the School:
* Supports learners aged 3-19 with a variety of ALN
* Small class sizes (typically no more than 10 students) with a high staff-to-student ratio
* Child-centred approach, combining sensory-based and practical learning strategies
* A nurturing and positive environment where every student's needs are prioritised
Who We're Looking For:
* No formal teaching qualifications required
* Experience working with children or young people is highly desirable
* Compassionate, patient, and adaptable individuals
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* A real interest in supporting learners with ALN
* Reliable and available during school hours (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) in the Cardiff area
