I am looking to recruit a Cyber Security Architect to join a leader in the utilities space. The business has been investing into its cyber security and IT estate and is continuing to grow and enhance their security posture. Your new role
This is an interesting opportunity to join a greatpany at an exciting time. The role will focus on designing and implementing a robust cyber security architecture function and assisting with the formation and planning of a multi-year Cyber Security Strategy, which is critical in maintaining operational reliability and minimising risk, especially in a critical national infrastructure (CNI) environment. Key parts of the role:
1. Define, document, and embed a set of Security Architecture Principles that will guide projects, programmes and changes.
2. Define, document, and embed aplete set of ISO27001pliant Security Policies, and associated ISMS.
3. Develop Reference Architecture and all associated architecture models for Identity Management and Privileged Account Management
4. Consult on and input into the redevelopment and regular testing of the Security Incident Response Plan
5. Inputs to the strategic planning and oversight of a rolling five-year Enterprise Security plan.
6. Provide Security Architecture consultancy into other projects and ongoing programmes of work, on both a planned and ad-hoc basis
7. Put in place a process that ensures all new systems (and architecturally significant changes to existing systems) have Security Architecture Reviews
8. Work closely with the Strategy and Architecture Team to ensure alignment with EA
9. Work with the Cyber Security Team to set up the team’s processes and frameworks
10. Lead on a number of Cyber IT and OT defined projects.
What you'll need to succeed
11. Experience of use-case analysis
12. Experience of systems modelling and design using UML
13. Experience of modelling security architecture using ArchiMate or similar tools
14. Experience of using architecture modelling software (, Enterprise Architect)
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
16. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
17. Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance
18. Familiarity with User Behavioural Analysis
19. Hands on experience of being heavily involved with a security maturity improvement program
20. Skilled in reviewing and analysing security controls for their suitability
21. Experience of drafting Security Solutions Design documentation sets
22. Strong experience in Identity Management and the evaluation of access models (inc. SSO, MFA, RBAC, ABAC, eIDV etc)
23. Strong knowledge of and the ability to put into practice global Information Security Standards including ISO27002, CIS and NIST CSF
