Job Title: Childcare Lecturer – Level 2 Diploma in Early Years (FE Provision) Location: Peterlee (Willerby Grove Campus) Contract: Part-time, Ongoing Cover Start Date: ASAP We’re working with a welcoming FE college in Durham that is seeking a qualified and passionate educator to deliver sessions on the Level 2 Diploma in Early Years (16–18 provision). This is a brilliant opportunity to inspire the next generation of early years practitioners within a supportive further education setting. About the role: Teaching the Level 2 Diploma in Early Years to 16–18 learners Wednesday sessions: 11:30am–12:30pm and 1:15pm–4:45pm Delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that prepare students for both work and further study What we’re looking for: Ideally, a childcare qualification (minimum Level 3 Early Years) A teaching qualification (or strong teaching experience with willingness to work towards one) Background in Early Years, Childcare, or related subjects (Health & Social Care experience also considered) Strong classroom presence with the ability to motivate and support young people Why this role?
