An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Sales Team for an experienced Business Development Manager / Account Manager

We are looking for a team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who is proactive, and can demonstrate high levels of determination to grow sales and build strong customer relationships.
The successful candidate will be targeted to grow sales within an existing portfolio of key accounts and through new business focus.
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate tenacity to provide individual customer plans to generate additional sales in a thriving, competitive market.
The role is full time, Field Based with occasional Head Office work based at the modern offices on the Wrexham Industrial Estate. Occasional overnight stays may be necessary.
1) Looking after circ 75 accounts, some of which are lapsed. These consist of mainly Independent:
a. Wholesalers
b. Foodservice Operators
c. Cash & Carry’s
2) Areas covered :
a. Wrexham
b. Chester
c. Lancashire
3) Mainly 3 days per week in the field, and 2 days in the office covering :
a. Meeting Planning, Preparation, Presentations
b. Actioning what has been agreed or achieved
c. Networking and general meetings
d. Prospecting for new business
4) Working towards
a. Achievement of KPI’s
b. Sales growth
c. New business
d. Continual prospect generation
e. Point of sale and general branding targets
f. New product distribution planning & execution
g. Competitor intelligence gathering
h. Cooking up relevant products to sample with customers
i. Attending Trade Shows
