Trainee Teaching Assistant – Communication & Interaction Support

Do you enjoy helping young people communicate and connect? This trainee role focuses on supporting pupils with communication and interaction needs, working alongside experienced staff to build confidence and engagement.
Main duties
1. Supporting communication activities in class and small groups
2. Using visual aids and structured supports under guidance
3. Encouraging social interaction and positive engagement
4. Learning specialist strategies through training and mentoring
5. Helping pupils express their needs and strengths

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
