CLERK TO THE GOVERNORS
Fixed term contract until 18.12.26, part time, term time only. Combination of working from home and school will be required. Variable hours: estimated hours approx. 228 hours per year (approx. six hours a week). Salary, depending on experience: £4,881.77 - £5,5403.59 per annum (£18.64 - £20.63 per hour). Required: ASAP.
Responsibilities
* Administrative and organisational support including responsibility for the whole meeting process (emails, calls and agenda preparation; writing up and distributing minutes)
* Guidance to ensure that the governing body works in compliance with the appropriate legal and regulatory framework and understands the potential consequences for non‑compliance
* Advice on procedural matters relating to the operation of the governing body
* Attending regular training events and briefings
Qualifications
* Knowledge of school systems: structures, accountability and funding
* Knowledge of governance legislation
* Knowledge of functions of a school governing body
