About The Role
Are you ready to take the lead in a vibrant kitchen environment? We’re on the lookout for a Kitchen Manager to join our Restaurant & Quick Serve department in beautiful Bognor Regis, where you’ll oversee our bustling Papa John's 200-seater restaurant!
As a key player reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our kitchen operations, guiding a dynamic team of up to 10 members per shift. Your mission? To ensure our guests leave with a smile, making them the heart of every operational decision.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource Planning: Recruit and select the best talent to deliver exceptional service.
* Guest Experience: Monitor and enhance the dining experience, focusing on continuous improvement.
* Financial Performance: Manage food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
* Health & Safety: Uphold food hygiene standards and ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
Typical working hours: This role is based on 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days with a variety of shifts between 7am - 3am, depending on the restaurant's opening hours.

As a Kitchen Manager, you’ll also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
