PWDirect/Packaging Warehouse Direct started life as a part of Auctionpax in 2002 then run from premises in Southport. The Company was re-located to Bacup in 2004 to a 5,000 square meter warehouse
Massive investment in 2018 / 2019 saw a huge leap forward in the automation of our order processing systems and grouped with our continued investment in website development and updating.
2021 - We have now integrated onto our site a brand new range of signage, which means as well as buying your packaging we can also supply you with business signage, all in the same order.
Description
• The main job role will be the preparing, packaging and sending of customer orders.
• Working in the warehouse you will be responsible for stock checks, stock rotation and general tidyness.
• You will also deal with goods inwards and storage
• There will be times when you will be required to work within other business areas, which could involve computer work, creating
stock and production of signs
• There may also be the opportunity to carry out work on Adobe illustrator, photo shop etc in designing and creating new signs,
banners, wrapping paper designs for sale and then also get new items listed on the various sales platforms.

• Can use their own imitative when it comes to certain aspects of the business or day to day role

No formal qualifications required.

• Uniform is provided but must be looked after

We always work with our apprentices to encourage them and show them more areas of the business as their skill level and
knowledge improves. There is always room to progress into other areas within our company if so wished
