The RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Lead Air Conditioning Engineer to join a fast-growing team.You’ll be the sole technical contact for key commercial contracts, delivering high-quality PPMs, reactive maintenance, and system upgrades across a variety of AC systems.This role goes beyond the tools — you’ll host client meetings, prepare reports and updates, and manage pricing/quotes. With planned progression opportunities, the goal is for you to step into a Contract Manager role within 18 months and lead your own team.Key Responsibilities: * Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and system upgrades * Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned contracts * Attend and lead client meetings * Prepare technical reports and project updates * Produce quotations and manage pricing for works * Support on-call duties (details TBC)Package & Benefits * Salary: Up to £46,800 per annum (DOE) * Holidays: 20 + 8 statutory, plus 2 after two years, with an option to purchase 3 additional days after probation * Overtime: 1.5x and 2x (Sunday double time if Saturday worked) * Company van: Brand new Dispatch (business use only) * Perks: Digital GP, high street discounts, and more * Career progression: Genuine path to Contract Manager within 18 monthsRequirements: * C&G 2079 / FGAS / Refrigerant Handling * Experience in a client facing role * Willingness to go the extra mileThis opportunity is ideal for a senior-level AC engineer ready to combine hands-on expertise with client-facing leadership — and grow into managing contracts and teams within a supportive, expanding business
