Working Hours: Flexible, MondayFriday between 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Qualified Audit Senior or experienced part-qualified Audit Semi-Senior to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to a diverse portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion for a varied client base
* Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members, ensuring high standards of delivery
* Prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards
* Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with regulatory and professional requirements
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout engagements
Group Audits & Consolidations
* Take a lead role in auditing groups of companies, including consolidated financial statements
* Work closely with senior team members to ensure group accounts are accurate and compliant
* Gain hands-on experience in complex group structures and reporting requirements
Accounts & Tax
* Prepare financial statements, including consolidated accounts
* Prepare and review corporation tax computations
* Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations and deadlines
Advisory & Development
* Contribute to advisory assignments and specialist projects
* Support clients with accounting and tax-related queries
* Develop a broad understanding of accounting and taxation across multiple sectors
Requirements
* ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience in audit within an accountancy practice environment
* Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
* Experience xcswzye with group audits and consolidated accounts is advantageous
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
