Overview

Responsibilities
* Kitchen Assistant - You will collect the meals from Pocklington Junior School, prepare the dining room, serve the meals and clean the dining area and kitchen afterwards.
* The job also requires some lifting, moving of furniture and equipment.
* Travelling between schools to collect meals will be required on a daily basis, so you must be able to transport yourself between the two sites.
* Business car insurance will be required.
Qualifications and requirements
* Experience of working within a school environment and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate would be advantageous but training will be given.
* Most importantly you will be team player, with an engaging sense of humour and a passion for doing a great job.
* All staff must have an enhanced DBS check as Bishop Wilton C of E Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
* In this role you are required to speak English with sufficient fluency to effectively perform your duties, as required by Section 42 of the Immigration Act 2016.
