About the Role
Location: Combined Assessment Unit, Belford Hospital, Fort William (17 assessment beds, 2 general HDU beds, 10 day surgery beds, pre-assessment clinic 6 days)
Primary in CAU with development opportunities in EC, Day Case Unit, and Pre-Assessment Department.
Belford Hospital is situated in Fort William in Lochaber, known as the Outdoor Capital of the UK. The area offers opportunities for water sports, mountaineering, and snow sports. Fort William lies at Loch Linnhe's head and at the foot of Ben Nevis, the UK's highest mountain, with Glasgow, Inverness, and Stirling within a 2-hour drive.
Candidate Requirements
* Relevant and current experience in acute care.
* Enthusiastic and innovative team player.
* Highly developed acute assessment skills.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Enhanced care knowledge is desirable.
* Applications from newly qualified nurses are welcome, with a mentor assigned for the first year.
