What will you be doing?
We're seeking a talented individual to join our team in Tunbridge Wells.
As a Senior Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring clients receive efficient and proactive service, exceeding expectations, and liaising with Clients, Partners, and staff to keep all updated on relevant issues.
* Completing management and statutory accounts, setting budgets, and understanding the commercial aspects affecting clients' businesses. Planning and completing management accounts, statutory accounts, VAT returns, and related tasks.
* Preparing proposals for new work and developing opportunities within current clients, assisting with onboarding new clients, and managing work schedules.
* Preparing fee notes and covering letters for clients, in accordance with billing policies, for review by senior staff.
* Assisting Managers with cash collection of outstanding debts per company policies.
* Reviewing and preparing management accounts, VAT returns, and statutory accounts, and reviewing iXBRL tagged accounts.

Qualifications and Skills
To succeed, you should:
* Be a qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA) or qualified by experience.
* Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to assess situations and reach suitable conclusions.
* Be skilled in developing client relationships and ensuring timely delivery of work exceeding client expectations.
* Possess technical expertise to produce statutory accounts, address VAT issues, and handle technical queries.
* Understand the commercial factors affecting clients and monitor work costs against budgets.
* Be proficient in Sage, QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Office.
