We have been assigned to a fascinating and rare opportunity for a fiduciary and corporate services group that is highly regarded in the market and recognised globally for its expertise.

The firm is undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation, and as part of this, the sales team is expanding. They are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive new business generation and contribute to strategic growth.

The organisation promotes a culture of learning, flexibility, and proactive client engagement, delivering bespoke solutions across multiple jurisdictions.

Location: Ideally based in London, with flexibility for Jersey, Guernsey, or Dubai. Significant travel to key markets will be required.

Seniority: The level of the role is flexible and will depend on experience.

The role

The primary focus of this role is pure sales and new business generation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding the client base, building out the UK service provider space, and facilitating cross-jurisdictional work referrals.

This role requires an individual who is eager to learn, savvy in understanding client needs, and capable of developing and executing a robust sales strategy from scratch.

Key responsibilities

* Drive new business generation by identifying and converting prospects into clients.
* Follow up on enquiries and nurture long-term client relationships.
* Understand client needs and recommend appropriate structures and services.
* Collaborate with teams across jurisdictions to ensure seamless onboarding.
* Attend client meetings and support proposal preparation and marketing initiatives.
* Research prospects and maintain accurate lead tracking through the pipeline.
* Stay informed on regulatory changes and market developments.
* Support clients with documentation and KYC requirements.
* Coordinate proposals across multiple jurisdictions.
* Contribute to occasional project work as required.

The Successful Candidate

* Proven experience in sales, business development ideally within professional services.
* Knowledge of Trust, Fiduciary, Private Wealth, Corporate Services, and/or Fund Services is highly advantageous.
* Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing situations.
* Ability to manage tasks effectively and work collaboratively.
* Willingness to travel as required.
* Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
