CREDIT CONTROLLER

SF Recruitment are excited to be exclusively recruiting an experienced Credit Controller to join our vibrant client in Nottingham on a permanent basis.
The Credit Controller will operate across all regional offices, located in UK, Belgium, France, Germany and Spain. Working as part of the European Finance team (based in the UK) this role will be responsible for credit control administration for the European businesses and processing financial data for the UK company. You will ensure the information is completed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with accounting standards, company policy, procedures and deadlines.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Post and allocate receipts to customer accounts.
Monitor, review and release customer orders on hold.
Review credit assessments for new and existing customers.
Checking and raising customer credit notes.
Chasing of customer accounts as due.
Communicate with UK and EU sales teams.
Provide backup information for statutory purposes and auditor as required
To provide cover for or assistance to other members of the European Finance Team and for Regional Office finance tasks as required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Proficient in use of major PC applications including Microsoft Office - particularly Excel
Good analytical skills with the capacity to summarize data.
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
Integrity and reliability, flexible and open to change.
Ability to work with accuracy to deadlines - paying attention to detail
Ability to communicate at all levels including to non financial managers.
