Location: Welshpool, Mid Wales (In-Person Role, Hybrid Available After 6 Months)
About Us
Since 2016, Digidol has been helping small businesses, sole traders, and local organisations grow through smart, sustainable digital marketing. Based in Mid Wales, we pride ourselves on being more than just a service provider — we're a partner in growth. From web design and SEO to ongoing strategy, our mission is to empower businesses, build stronger communities, and make professional marketing accessible to those who need it most.
We're in a stage of rapid growth, and we want ambitious people to grow with us. At Digidol, we value critical thinkers who can bring fresh ideas, challenge proposals, and contribute to strategies that make a real impact.
The Role
We're looking for a motivated, ambitious, and adaptable Digital Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This role is available part-time (20 hours per week to begin), with the opportunity to progress to full-time within 6 months — though we're open to offering a full-time position immediately for the right candidate.
This is a varied role, but a strong ability to write high-quality, engaging content (blogs, web pages, case studies, newsletters) is essential. You'll also support SEO and web management tasks, while gaining exposure to all areas of digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and write engaging, well-structured content for blogs, websites, newsletters, and case studies.
* Manage and update client websites (WordPress, Shopify, etc.) — content, formatting, and light troubleshooting.
* Support SEO activities: keyword research, on-page optimisation, backlink outreach, and reporting.
* Assist with creating and maintaining directory listings, business profiles, and online citations.
* Contribute to Digidol's own marketing, from social media to campaigns.
* Provide general admin and client support when required.
Nice-to-Have Skills (Advantageous but not essential)
* Experience managing social media accounts or scheduling content.
* Photography, videography, or creative content production.
* Examples of content writing, social posts, or creative work you can share.
About You
* Ambitious, driven, and eager to grow with the company.
* A strong writer with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and creative content.
* A critical thinker who can confidently challenge ideas and bring new perspectives.
* Organised, with strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively.
* Strong communication skills — written and verbal.
* Some familiarity with digital marketing tools (WordPress, Canva, SEO tools) is a bonus, but training will be provided.
* A genuine interest in supporting small businesses and being part of a community-focused agency.
* The ability to speak and write in Welsh is an advantage, but not essential.
