What to expect
The Electrical Automation Engineer is responsible for electrical, automation, and industrial network systems in our production and facilities. You will maintain these systems and support improvement projects.
Systems Responsibilities
* Electrical: High Voltage (HV) supply, distribution, and transformation network; Low Voltage (LV) systems; support to technicians, breakdown resolution, and efficiency targets.
* Automation: PLC systems (primarily Siemens S7 series), HMIs, troubleshooting, modifications, upgrades, backups, and monitoring systems like Lineview. Additional systems include Safety PLCs, other PLC brands (e.g., B&R), print and apply systems, SCADA systems (Wonderware, Siemens, etc.).
* Networking: Debugging and resolving issues on machine-level networks (Profinet) and site-wide networks (TCP/IP, TSN). Installing and maintaining systems, VLAN configuration.
Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of internal standards related to HV/LV electrical, automation, networking, cybersecurity, and machinery safety.
* Experience in automation within FMCG environments, leadership skills for guiding technicians and contractors.
* Strong communication skills, ability to tailor messages, and identify non-compliances or safety conflicts.
* Provide guidance for audits and project planning, considering site infrastructure.
* Water stewardship knowledge, managing boreholes and water systems, seeking water-saving projects.
* Understanding of compressors, boilers, and gas systems (CO2, N2), managing F&U technicians.
