About the Role
As a Floor and Wall Covering Operative, youll help maintain and enhance our housing stock, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and landlord maintenance standards. Youll play a key role in improving tenant satisfaction, supporting the upkeep of high-quality homes, and fostering strong landlord-tenant relationships.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Experienced in all aspects of floor and wall finishes including wet-room wall boarding
Experience in repairs, new build, maintenance, or contract environments, including assessing and inspecting jobs, and updating records.
The ability to use the necessary power tools and plant safely, as well as the ability to follow all safety procedures on and off-site.
Experience of carrying out investigations and tests to identify faults and the root cause of issues and implement lasting solutions.
Ability to use elements of the skills of other general trades to meet the target of first-time fix where it is efficient and appropriate to do so.
Ability to demonstrate an organised but flexible approach, and the ability to meet deadlines.
You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for this role.
