Electrical Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical Bias)
Location: Wakefield
Hours: 40 hours (Tuesday–Friday, days)
Shifts: Day shifts with staggered early finishes. Occasional cover required for holiday/absence.
Pay: Circa £50,000 plus bonuses
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor:
* Carry out and supervise fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical breakdowns
* Deliver planned maintenance and project work to schedule
* Supervise and mentor day-to-day activities of maintenance engineers
* Create and review risk assessments and method statements
* Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS/reporting systems
* Read and interpret multi-discipline engineering drawings
Essential Skills & Experience of the Maintenance Supervisor:
* Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
* Strong electrical fault-finding and repair experience
* Previous experience supervising or leading maintenance teams
* Experience in heavy industry and/or automated plant
* Confident creating and working to risk assessments and SOPs
