Delighted to be supporting a long standing business to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join a busy, supportive payroll team, reporting into the Assistant Payroll Manager. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of UK payrolls, supporting the Payroll Manager. This is a transactional, hands‑on role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and experience working in a fast‑paced payroll environment. Key Responsibilities Payroll onboarding - setting up new starters Payroll off‑boarding - processing leavers and final pay Adding employees to the P11D system Administering private medical schemes Responding to employee payroll queries and escalating when needed Ad‑hoc payroll processing and data input Completing peer‑review checks to meet SOX control requirements Supporting payroll compliance and rate audits with accurate data Electronic filing and general payroll administration (payslips, P11Ds, documentation) Adhering to all SOX control responsibilities What We're Looking For 1 years' experience in a busy payroll department (desirable) Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills Ability to work to deadlines with high accuracy Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload Experience with iTrent or Workday Payroll (desirable) Competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel Leeds | Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) 3-6 month contract | Inside IR35 | Umbrella | £160 per day If you are interested please apply or forward your CV
