Role Overview
Children's Social Work Practice Manager, Safeguarding Team, Hertfordshire. Pay rate £42.50 per hour. Contract role as Assistant Team Manager / Practice Manager level for the Safeguarding Team in Stevenage.
Responsibilities
* Line management responsibility for social workers & alternatively qualified staff.
* Provide high quality supervision for staff.
* Chair meetings, such as strategy meetings.
* Provide duty management support to the team manager.
* Deputise for the team manager as needed.
* Lead and shape the Central SASH service and work closely with the Team Manager.
* Demonstrate initiative and ambition.
Qualifications
Experienced children’s social worker with the ability to supervise staff and demonstrate initiative and ambition to lead and shape the Central SASH service. Experience of supervising staff and leading a team is required.
