Quality Assurance Engineer - Games - Hybrid London - 6 Month Contract
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join the gaming team on a freelance/contract basis, starting ASAP.
The role is based hybrid in London with a minimum duration of 6 months start now, extendable depending on how the pilot goes.

What you'll be doing:
* Plan and execute test coverage across game features
* Identify risk areas and determine test approach without waiting for explicit requirements
* Write clear, actionable bug reports and qualitative feedback
* Work closely with your internal QA counterpart to align on priorities and share findings
What we're looking for:
* Solid hands‑on game testing experience, ideally in mobile F2P
* Strong working knowledge of iOS and Android, including device and OS fragmentation
* Self‑directed, able to manage own workload within a demanding release schedule
* Good instincts around game design and player experience, not just surface‑level defect spotting
* Clear, concise communicator in writing and in person
* Reliable and composed under pressure
Nice to have:
* Familiarity with farming or casual games
* Experience with TestRail or Jira
* Background as an external contractor or in a vendor QA context
