Art & Design Teacher

We are working with vibrant and inclusive secondary schools in Wellingborough that are seeking inspiring Art & Design Teachers to join their creative departments from January 2025. These full-time, permanent roles offer the chance to deliver dynamic, high-quality lessons in a supportive environment with a strong artistic culture.
About the Role:
1. Teach engaging and inclusive Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience and school requirements)
2. Inspire students across a range of artistic disciplines, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital media, and mixed-media work
3. Support students in developing strong portfolios, creative confidence, and critical visual analysis skills
4. Plan and deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that nurtures creativity, technical skill, and cultural understanding
5. Contribute to exhibitions, creative showcases, and enrichment activities across the school
6. Work collaboratively within the creative faculty to support cross-curricular projects and whole-school arts initiatives
We're Looking For:
7. A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a specialism in Art & Design or a related discipline
8. Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic media, processes, and design principles
9. A creative, innovative teacher who engages all learners and encourages artistic exploration
10. Someone who values inclusivity and understands the role of art in supporting personal development and wellbeing
11. A team player with enthusiasm for extracurricular art activities and events
12. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply - full induction and support provided
