ABOUT 200 DEGREES
We are 200 Degrees Coffee, speciality coffee roasters, purveyors of unique coffee shops, unashamed coffee geeks and we’re growing fast. We sell our hand-roasted beans in our 25 coffee shops and online with six purpose-built Coffee Schools to help everyone drink better coffee. We also work with a range of hospitality businesses, from independent cafés to high end bars and restaurants, supplying complete coffee packages to workplaces, garden centres and hotels.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role will partner the Leadership Team in a growing and exciting business, where you can really see the difference, you make every day. The role will also be part of a wider People Team as 200 Degrees Coffee is part of the Caffe Nero Group.
You’ll work closely as a key part of our senior team. Your wide range of knowledge and skills will help us to ensure all our teams are provided with relevant, accurate and timely insight to assist in making informed decisions and driving standards across the business.
The People Partner is a cultural ambassador who takes shared ownership as well as responsibility for the compliance, transformation and progress of all people processes and measures. They work both strategically and operationally with the Operations and Head Office Leadership team to adopt commercially focused HR solutions that add measured value to the business. To be successful our People Partners need to be true generalists who are passionate and confident.
In this role you can expect to:
* Be visible in store and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, particularly the Head of Operations, Cluster Managers and wider members of the Leadership Team.
* Ensure all our people processes are set up, fit for purpose and legally compliant.
* Understand how you can influence and drive our core people measure within the business and produce solutions that have a measurable impact.
* Be set up for success - design and deliver leadership development activities to ensure people are set up to succeed.
* Investigate new ways of delivering best practice as a senior people professional, not only within the business but with the wider Caffe Nero people team.
* Know your people – harness talent by identifying short term and long- term successors.
* Provide regular and meaningful updates to the Senior Leadership team.
* Identify and deliver commercially focused People projects in line with business plans.
* Our Head Office and Roast House is based in Nottingham, which you will visit approximately once a week. The rest of your time will be spent out in our shops.
* Supporting our team members to achieve their professional goals is important to us, so alongside your day to day work you may have an opportunity to complete a professional qualification with our learning partners.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an experienced HR / People professional. You’ll have experience, but also a desire to learn and grow with us. You’re dynamic, forward thinking, don’t mind a challenge, and love rolling up your sleeves. You’ll ideally live within sensible access of our Roast House in Nottingham, and our coffee shops across the Midlands and North. You will have demonstrable experience of delivering value to an organisation through improvement.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful, you will have:
* Relevant experience in Human Resources within a multi-site environment, ideally within retail / hospitality.
* Sound knowledge and application of UK Law.
* As a minimum you will have associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
* Drive and resilience to overcome challenges.
* Excellent communication and mediation skills.
* The ability to influence at all levels of the business.
* Great self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously and remotely. But also, be a brilliant team player!
* The ability to collaborate & apply a supportive coaching style.
* A full Driving License and be happy to travel to our stores on a regular basis.
* You can get stuff done! – You’ll be the tenacious character that can help sort out the varied and constant daily challenges that come with running a multi-site hospitality business.
