We are seeking a skilled Engineer or Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a consultancy in London, United Kingdom. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Design firm, you will be responsible to designing infrastructure projects, review and project manage projects whilst mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in civil engineering and be passionate to learn and develop towards chartership.
This design Consultancy work on projects heavily in the Residential and commercial sector. The office is a Civil and Structural office with great development for each the ideal candidate will have a experience with cut and fill, Earthworks, Development Surface water and Foul water drainage systems, Access and site development.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BSc or BEng) in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure design and project managementfrom a UK consultancy.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D/ PDS, Microdrainage / Info Drainage PDS and other design tools
- Be on route of have obtained IEng or CEng status
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards, codes, and guidelines related to infrastructure design and construction
- Excellent report writing skills with some experience of flood risk assessments FRA
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Take ownership in your team and help mentor junior staff
- Review designs and project work to the highest standard to deliver on the clients expectations
- Liaise with clients and Stakeholders
- Ability to manage work load and work to tight deadlines
