Overview
We are looking to recruit a General Engineering Technician/Trainer with relevant experience in general engineering, who may be seeking a change in career or already working in a similar role and keen to progress. Responsibilities
* Support the Engineering lecturer and students, assisting in the delivery of practical lessons.
* Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained, inspected and records kept.
* Maintain a safe working environment and prepare materials and equipment for practical activities.
* Pass on knowledge and experience to future talent to help learners reach their potential.
* In addition, experience of welding would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Qualifications and Skills
* Enthusiastic and motivated individual who can engage with FE students.
* A proactive approach to safety and compliance in a learning environment.
* Welding experience is desirable but not required.
