Overview
We are looking for a dependable and personable Customer Advisor to join our team. The role involves helping customers with orders, answering phone and email enquiries, processing invoices, organising orders and deliveries, keeping the shop area stocked and tidy. The successful candidate will be confident and polite, with strong communication and customer service skills. It's important that the candidate is used to working in a customer facing environment and can remain calm under pressure. The candidate will be adaptable to working in both a solo environment and helping colleagues when necessary. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable relationship skills in a dynamic, customer focused environment.
Responsibilities
· Assist retail and trade customers with their orders
· Answer the phone and reply to emails appropriately
· Ensure the shop area is presentable and shelves stocked
· Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the business
· Provide a professional standard of service
· Upkeep the professional company image at all times
· Be responsible for own HSE
· Deliver orders when necessary
Hours
· 8:30 – 17:00 Monday – Friday
Salary
· £30,000
· Negotiable based on experience and knowledge of industry.
Required Skills / Experience
· Computer literacy required
· Driving license required
· Ability to work under pressure
· Dynamic and adaptable
· Confident and polite phone manor
· Presentable
Desirable Skills / Experience
· Trade counter / customer facing experience
· Knowledge of the automotive refinish industry is highly advantageous but not strictly necessary.
· Knowledge of products and processes used within the car body repair industry
· Experience using Autopart software is highly advantageous
