We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team on a permanent basis.
A Day in the Life of a Key Account Manager
As a Key Account Manager at Wockhardt, you will be a key member of the team, working to maintain and increase sales through key pharmacy, multiple retail outlets, and wholesalers within the UK.
Your responsibilities include planning your workload to meet sales targets, maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers to maximize sales, and identifying new customers to generate new business. The role also involves monitoring competitor activity, forecasting, budgeting, and staying informed about market developments and new products.
What We're Looking For
You need to be commercially astute with a proven record of achieving sales success in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of the healthcare sector and experience with generics are preferable.
You should demonstrate individual working skills, accountability, and the ability to work well as part of a team with internal and external stakeholders.
Educationally, we prefer candidates to have a Degree (or equivalent) with excellent business administration skills, including numeracy and literacy. A current, full UK driving license is essential, as this is a field-based role, with significant time spent at our Wrexham North Wales site.
