After completing a paid two-week induction, you’ll have access to available nursing shifts at Adderley Green, with the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region.
There is no minimum number of hours you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to retain induction knowledge and familiarity with the service.
Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available and easy to view and book through an app. In a few taps you’ll have the nursing shifts at Adderley Green secured that you want.
Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Nurse with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more.
What you will be doing
As a Registered Nurse you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to people with neurological illnesses, while supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5-hour standard shifts. As a nurse on our bank you’ll be on a zero-hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Where you will be working
Location: Dividy Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST2 0TN
You will be working at Adderley Green, which consists of two units: Moorcroft Manor, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries, and Gladstone House, a specialist inpatient unit for people over 65 living with complex dementia.
Both units have extensive facilities catering for the specific needs of people aged over 18 years who have complex neurological care and rehabilitation requirements, and those over 65 living with complex dementia.
You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver truly person-centred services where each individual is at the heart of everything.
