Your responsibilities will include the following:
1. Supporting the Legal and Leadership teams across a range of media, broadcast and operational projects, including advising on the exploitation of media rights relating to UEFA Men’s Club Competitions.
2. Negotiating, drafting and reviewing media rights agreements and other commercial rights-related legal documentation.
3. Working closely with Sales to support the design and delivery of fast-moving sales processes, primarily related to media rights. Collaborating with colleagues across Sales, Strategy and Partner Management to provide clear, practical legal advice and solutions-focused recommendations, including guidance on contractual compliance.
4. Contributing to the development, evolution and ongoing management of TEAM’s legal documentation, with a particular focus on media rights agreements and tender documentation.
5. Supporting in maintaining and developing TEAM’s legal knowledge portfolio, ensuring materials are accurate, accessible and up to date.
6. Monitoring legal developments in key markets, supporting legal research and coordinating with external counsel where required, including helping to implement appropriate outcomes.
7. Building and maintaining effective business relationships across the organisation, as well as with clients and global stakeholders.
The candidate
You hold the required academic background, including a university degree and a professional qualification that entitles you to practise law. With at least two to three years of post-qualification professional experience, you have built strong skills in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, particularly within media rights.
You are comfortable operating within the sports industry and the sports media rights marketplace, and you consistently uphold the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality. Experience across a broader range of media-related matters, including supporting sponsorship and/or service agreements, would be considered an advantage.
You are able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, delivering reliable outcomes against client-driven timelines while managing your workload in line with business and client priorities. You work proactively with an appropriate level of independence, exercising sound judgement and making considered decisions when required.
You apply well-developed analytical skills to your work, communicate clearly and constructively, and contribute positively to a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

The position will be either based at TEAM’s Lucerne or London office and will involve some international travel.
