Role Overview:
As a Commercial Analyst at Memento Exclusives, you will play a key role in supporting our Commercial and Licensing teams through detailed reporting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be central to driving accurate and timely royalty reporting, and ensuring royalty payments are accurately tracked and prioritised with the Finance team. You will serve as the vital link between the Commercial, Licensing, Finance and Operations departments, providing analytical support to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and optimise the financial performance of our licensing deals.
This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and a problem-solving mindset. You must also be adaptable as we continue to grow and update our systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Royalty Reporting:
Prepare, review, and submit royalty reports for licensors across various sports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
* Financial Coordination:
Collaborate with the finance team to prioritise royalty payments, track variances, and manage any discrepancies.
* Data Analysis:
Analyse sales and royalty data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to support the Licensing team.
* System & Process Improvement:
Assist in the development and optimisation of reporting systems and processes to ensure they can scale with the company's growth.
* Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between Commercial, Licensing, Finance and Operations teams to ensure smooth workflows, accurate data sharing, and alignment on reporting deadlines.
* Contract Compliance:
Ensure all financial obligations related to licensing agreements, such as royalty calculations and deadlines, are met.
* Ad Hoc reports:
Prepare, review, and submit and Ad Hoc reports required by the teams outside of the royalty reports. E.g. Stock on hand, Campaign performance feedback, Joint competition results, etc
* Licensing Metrics & KPIs:
Create and maintain dashboards to track licensing performance metrics such as sales, royalties, and profitability of licensing deals.

* Proven Experience:
Has a strong track record in a data-driven or financial role, ideally within licensing, royalties, or sports/entertainment sectors.
* Self-Starter:
Is a motivated, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Analytical Excellence:
Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly when working with large datasets and complex financial information.
* Technical Skills:
Possesses advanced proficiency in Excel, including reporting and data analysis. Experience with licensing or financial software is a plus.
* Strong Communicator:
Has excellent communication skills and works well with cross-functional teams, especially finance and operations.
* Adaptable & Flexible:
Is able to adapt to changing systems, processes, and business needs, contributing to improvements as the company grows.
* Interest in Sports:
An interest in global sports, including football, motorsport, or combat sports, would be an asset.
