Manage a mixed portfolio of claims including domestic, commercial & agricultural.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to general property productivity targets through effective planning and organization of personal workload.
* Manage client relationships through SLA delivery and KPI achievement, proactively interacting with clients and brokers to improve claims handling and drive business development.
* Ensure all adjusting activities comply fully with company procedures and external regulatory requirements.
* Participate in project delivery, ensuring personal contributions are completed on time and meet project requirements.
* Maintain awareness of the Business Continuity programme and the role in it.
* Show knowledge or awareness of FCA procedures and the TCF initiative.
* Actively seek personal development and take responsibility for training and development.
Qualifications
* Experience in adjuster field operations within a designated geographical area.
* Office or home based with regular UK travel; intermittent overnight stays required.
* Strong customer‑focused behaviour to develop and maintain client relationships.
* Demonstrates integrity consistent with the company’s core values.
* Effective communication skills at all levels.
* Adheres to licensing requirements and seeks colleague support as needed.

* Insurance qualification (preferably ACII or ACILA) or extensive claims adjusting experience preferred.

* Experience in agricultural insurance claims, rural communities and associated challenges preferred.
* Extensive knowledge of FCA procedures and TCF initiatives.
* Extensive knowledge of the insurance market.
* Extensive technical knowledge within the adjusting arena.
* Understanding of client SLA compliance, productivity and quality requirements.
* Proficient use of scoping software and handheld devices.
* Problem‑solving ability to recognise and address issues.
* Project management skills to deliver targets within budgets and timetables.
* Attention to detail.
* Dispute and resolution handling skills for high‑level customer complaints.
* Efficient use of technology.
* Can work independently and as part of a team.
