Grade: E; scp11 £18,635 to scp17 £20,542 with 7% enhancement for unsociable hours. Contract: Permanent 24.5 hours per week. Role specifics: Must be over 18yrs and hold a Care Certificate.

The Role
Are you an experienced carer looking for progression? We are looking for a senior care assistant to join the team at Dove House.
* Key duties include assisting with personal care, helping with eating and drinking, supporting mobility and comfort, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and responding to emergencies.
* You’ll also contribute to care planning, communicate effectively with individuals with varying needs, and work closely with NHS and Local Authority teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
* The additional duties for the senior role are medication administration and organising the staff on a shift.
You’ll support residents needing rehabilitation or assessment, helping them regain independence or transition to long-term care.
Shifts follow a set rolling rota with fixed shift lengths: 7:30-3 and 2:30-10. Long shifts are not available.
About You
We’re looking for individuals with experience in care. Above all, you must be able to demonstrate kindness, compassion, and respect when supporting our residents. Basic computer skills are essential, as you’ll be using digital systems to record and access care information.
