Gemini Worktops is a rapidly growing family-owned business. Due to continued and significant growth, we are now looking for an experienced, professional, and detail orientated Stone Worktop Finisher to join our growing team.
In this substantial role you'll be responsible for inspecting fabricated stone for defects and making repairs, perform edge polishing, honing, and finishing, profiling special edges, ensuring work meets quality standards and liaising with our installation teams.

Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect fabricated quartz/stone worktops for defects, chips, or imperfections.
* Perform edge polishing, honing, and finishing to meet specified designs and customer requirements.
* Use hand tools and machinery such as wet polishers, grinders, and CNC machines to finish surfaces and edges.
* Profiling of special edge detail.
* Interpret and follow production job cards and digital work orders to ensure accurate execution of cutting, shaping, and finishing tasks.
* Ensure all pieces meet company quality standards before dispatch or installation.
* Collaborate with fabricators, installers, and designers to ensure product quality and client satisfaction.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
* Safely handle and move heavy stone pieces using appropriate lifting equipment.
* Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Previous experience in the stone worktop fabrication industry would be advantageous, though we will consider training for capable individuals with experience of using hand tools from other industries.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in stone finishing ideally with experience of edge polishing, honing and finishing
* Hands-on experience with hand tools and machinery such as wet polishers, grinders, and CNC machines to finish surfaces and edges.
* Understanding of factory production workflows and quality assurance processes.
* Knowledge of relevant safety standards, codes, and best practices in industrial settings.
* Strong attention to detail, time management, and task prioritization skills.

Shift and schedule
* Monday to Friday, 2 shift rotation 06:00-14:30 & 13:30 – 22:00.
* Weekend overtime availability.
