Offer description

Developing and managing existing customer relationships and establishing new ones across a number of markets. It is a customer-facing role with frequent international travel to visit current and potential customers, to be on our booths at trade shows, and to represent us at events. This position is an ambassador for both The Fine Cheese Co. and Artisan Biscuits, helping to promote and grow our presence and reputation globally. Key Responsibilities Account Management & Business Development • Manage and grow a portfolio of international B2B customers. • Identify and develop new sales opportunities in export markets. • Create and deliver tailored commercial plans with customers. • Set and track joint objectives, performance, and promotional activity. Customer Visits & Travel • Regularly travel internationally to meet customers and distributors. • Prepare for and deliver professional, engaging customer meetings. • Undertake in-store visits, sales training and business reviews. Trade Shows & Events • Represent the company at key UK and international trade shows. • Manage planning, set-up, and follow-up from events. • Maintain a professional image and display brand values at all times. Sales Support & Communication • Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, Finance and Production teams. • Ensure timely communication of product, pricing and availability updates. • Keep CRM records (Gold Vision) fully up to date with meetings, calls and actions. Requirements & Skills • Experience in B2B sales or account management (ideally FMCG, fine food, or export). • Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis. • Strong relationship-building, communication and organisational skills. • Fluency in English, with additional European or Asian languages desirable. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with experience of CRM a plus. • Demonstrable fondness and excitement for artisan food, especially cheese and baked goods. Additional Information • Based near Bath, with regular travel abroad including at weekends and bank holidays. Occasional flexibility needed to support other departments during peak times (e.g. Christmas, Mail Order). • A full UK driving licence and valid passport are essential.
