About Our Nursery
Join our nurturing team at Busy Bees in Stotfold, an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 64 children. Our smaller team creates a family-like atmosphere, enhanced by our converted house that adds to the homely feel. We collaborate with local authorities for further training opportunities, supporting your professional growth. Located in a small town, we have regular bus services into larger towns and are conveniently situated next to a CO-OP with electric car charging points. We offer free parking and flexible working options, including a four-day work week. What To Expect As a Senior Nursery Room Leader
* Ensure that educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
* Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children.
* Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
* Oversee the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making necessary adaptations to support children with additional needs.
* Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's development.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.
Ideal Candidate
* Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
* Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
