Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team, working in hospital and medical facility settings to support our key client, Iris Care Group. This is a vital role where your clinical expertise and commitment to excellence will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across a range of medical needs. Your responsibilities will span from administering medications and monitoring patient conditions to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional nursing care by assessing patient needs and implementing individualised care plans.
* Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
* Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress, reporting any changes promptly to the medical team.
* Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
* Provide clear education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medication instructions, and post-discharge care.
* Maintain thorough, accurate, and up-to-date medical records in compliance with NMC standards and healthcare regulations.
* Uphold best practices in infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with evolving clinical standards and advancements in healthcare.
Qualifications & Skills
* Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
* Proven experience in hospital or medical facility settings is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to patient care.
* Skilled in the administration of medications and proficient in using a range of medical equipment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients and colleagues.
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail in managing patient caseloads and clinical documentation.
* A compassionate, empathetic approach to nursing with a strong focus on patient dignity, safety, and well-being.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £23.00-£25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
