We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across the Willesden area. These roles include long-term placements and flexible day-to-day supply, supporting schools by supervising classes in the absence of teaching staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cover Supervisor or confident classroom professional with strong behaviour management skills who can maintain a positive learning environment and keep students on task.
About the Role
Working as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools across Willesden
Supervising classes during short-term and long-term teacher absences
Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain focused and engaged
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Maintaining a calm, safe, and productive learning environment
Taking registers and reporting back to teaching staff where required
Supporting students with their work and encouraging positive behaviour for learning
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working in a secondary school setting (as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or similar)
Have strong behaviour management skills and confidence managing a classroom independently
Be calm, firm, and consistent in dealing with challenging behaviour
Be reliable, professional, and adaptable to different school environments
Be able to follow school policies and procedures effectively
Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
