Purpose: To repair, maintain and develop production Mould Tools. Main Duties: Support Safety Checks and Improvement activities as required. Carry out preventative maintenance according to schedule and documented procedure. Carry out repairs with the objective of preventing re-occurrence and improving tool robustness. Maintain tool work records and complete necessary Toolroom documentation. Support the improvement and maintenance of 5S standards. Carry out root cause analysis when appropriate to ensure robustness of corrective actions and repairs. Must have extensive mould tool experience and traditional bench-fitting skills. Repair and maintenance of hot runner systems. The role involves working a shift system, you must be willing to work shifts. Any other duties as requested by the business. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Essential: Must be a time served Toolmaker. City & Guilds Toolmaker and/or ONC Mechanical Engineering. Capability to work under own supervision. Strong background in injection mould tool manufacture & maintenance. Cross functional department working. Desirable: Experienced automotive or similar high volume industry. Working Hours 3 shift rotating pattern. Monday to Thursday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am Fridays 6am-1pm /1pm-8pm / 8pm-3am
