Senior IT Service Delivery Manager (Strategic Supplier Management)
Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in Reading
We’re looking for a senior service leader to take ownership of enterprise IT service delivery through complex outsourced partnerships. This is not a hands‑on delivery role — it’s a strategic position focused on holding third‑party suppliers to account, driving performance, and ensuring commercial value.
You’ll operate at a senior level across business and technology, managing key supplier relationships, interpreting contracts, and ensuring services are delivered in line with agreed outcomes, SLAs, and commercial expectations.
What you’ll do:
* Lead strategic management of managed service providers and outsourced partners
* Own supplier performance, governance, and service accountability
* Interpret and manage contracts, SLAs, and commercial frameworks
* Drive service performance, risk visibility, and escalation at a senior level
* Lead service improvement and support contract optimisation/renewals
* Ensure enterprise services are secure, resilient, and aligned to business priorities
What we’re looking for:
* Strong experience managing third‑party IT suppliers in a complex environment
* Proven ability to operate at a senior, strategic level (not just operational delivery)
* Solid understanding of contracts, commercials, and supplier governance
* Excellent stakeholder influence across business and technology
* ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4) or equivalent experience
* OSS
* Mobile Telecoms experience - nice to have
