Overview
Registered Mental Health Nurse (Ref: 225536). Substantive Post. Full time 37 hours. Band 5 - Salary Range £33,247 - £41,424 per annum. Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,482 per annum. A Relocation assistance of up to £8,000 is available.
This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for new or experienced mental health nurses to join our dynamic Community Mental health Team. We are looking for registered nurses RMN, who have experience and skills in community settings or crisis teams and who want to further develop in a remote and rural setting.
Responsibilities
* Be part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering best-practice, evidenced-based interventions to individuals who require mental health support and treatment.
* Undertake assessments of individual need; development, implementation and evaluation of individually planned care with other members of the multidisciplinary team and partner agencies.
* Provide both scheduled and unscheduled care which supports patients who require immediate input either at home or in acute settings.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills; experience of multi-agency working would be an advantage.
Qualifications and requirements
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
* Experience and skills in community settings or crisis teams; ability to develop in a remote and rural setting.
* Sound working knowledge and understanding of current Mental Health policy and legislation.
* Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work within a multidisciplinary and multi-agency framework.
* Preferred candidates may be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment.
