Position Description
We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication & assembly of our bespoke AHU’s, according to CAD/engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret technical documents: Read and CAD/engineering drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and AHU/unit layouts.
* Fabricate and assemble:Cut, shape, and assemble metal materials (such as steel, aluminium, stainless steel, etc.) using a variety of tools and machinery.
* Weld components:Join metals using various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, on different material thicknesses.
* Adhere to safety standards:Follow all company and industry safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Collaborate:Work effectively within a team, communicating clearly with department supervisor and/or project managers, as well as other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
Required Education & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in a manufacturing or construction environment.
* Proficiency in MIG welding and knowledge of it’s equipment
* Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
* Experience with fabrication tools such as grinders, drills etc.
* Strong understanding of health and safety protocols and a commitment to a safe work environment.
