Overview
Job Role: Electrician. Location: HMP The Mount, Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead HP3 0NZ. Salary: £39,333.37. Contract: Full time/perm x3 positions available.
Responsibilities
* As an Electrician, you will work as part of the Facilities Maintenance Team to support the safe operation of HMP The Mount.
* Collaborate with colleagues across trades (Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, Administrators) to maintain a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff and visitors.
* Operate within the scope of planned preventive maintenance and electrical systems as part of a multi-disciplinary facilities team.
Qualifications
* Two years' experience working in a role as an electrician.
* Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems.
* Good working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations.
* Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
* 18th Edition.
* Certificate in BS7671.
* Good Health & Safety knowledge.
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
