The Bids & Tenders Coordinator role:
Part of the Income and Partnerships team, the Bids and Tenders Coordinator is a rewarding and strategic role at Migrant Help. You will be responsible for supporting the Migrant Help income strategy to diversify the charity’s income streams and build beneficial relationships with funders. You will work with the Business Development Manager: Bids & Tenders, the Bids & Tenders Lead and the wider team, to source opportunities and apply for national and local authority government contracts that improve the lives of Migrant Help’s clients.
Key responsibilities of our Bids & Tenders Coordinator:
* Supporting the development of applications for funding with input from subject matter experts and other colleagues, whilst ensuring the charity’s bid procedure is followed.
* Writing robust and compelling content for funding applications and propositions for high value grants to support the charity’s income strategy for the benefit of our clients.
* Producing accurate impact / evaluation reports in line with funding requirements and timeframes.
* Researching, monitoring and maintaining a list of funding opportunities from local authorities, and statutory grant awarding organisations.
* Supporting the mapping of potential partnerships and local networks, using the funding pipeline to prioritise areas of research.
* Keeping abreast of changes to the funding sector and develop an understanding of how this impacts the charity.
* Attending and document market engagement events for sharing with the wider team.
* Maintaining the bid library, ensuring the information is correctly organised, regularly updated and reviewed.
The experience and skills you need to become our Bids & Tenders Coordinator:
* Knowledge of types of fundraising, development and research methods.
* Experience of managing a number of projects concurrently to meet agreed deadlines.
* Exceptional writing skills, proof reading skills and attention to detail
* The ability to produce engaging content and communicate complex information clearly
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
