Our Private Business team specializes in providing corporate tax advice to privately owned and Private Equity-backed businesses, along with owners and management teams, on all aspects of tax in the UK and abroad, including shareholder issues.
We foster a curious and collaborative environment that encourages sharing knowledge and innovative solutions to deliver top-tier service. As a key member of our growing team, you'll work closely with experienced Private Business Partners and Directors to develop new client relationships, including with well-known household names, and identify new market opportunities.
What Your Days Will Look Like
* Managing a diverse portfolio of client engagements, advising on complex tax issues for privately owned and private equity portfolio companies.
* Building significant relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Collaborating across teams for complex projects.
* Staying updated on UK and overseas tax laws and legislation.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, drive, and leadership qualities, with the ability to maintain trusted, long-term relationships with clients and contacts.
Minimum Requirements
* Possession of an ACA and/or CTA qualification (or international equivalent).
* Relevant and current UK (and some overseas) tax knowledge.
* Experience with complex tax issues faced by privately/family-owned businesses and private equity portfolio companies.
* Strong project management skills.
* Effective stakeholder management and coaching abilities.
* Excellent written communication skills, including reports and technical memos.
