Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing essential clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of both the operational and commercial arms of the business. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and previous office experience. This position offers an opportunity to develop professional skills within a dynamic organisation, supporting various administrative functions and contributing to overall efficiency.
You would be based in our site office Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
* Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
* Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office
* Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendar management for Directors
* Preparing correspondence as required
* Handling mail distribution and courier arrangements
* Supporting invoicing, billing, and logistical supply chain
* Ensuring the office supplies, PPE tools are stocked and ordering replacements as needed
* Providing general administrative support to facilitate daily operations
Experience
* Previous office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry
* Familiarity with the Construction Industry is desirable but not essential
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Good communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
* Experience in clerical roles involving data management and document preparation is desirable
