About the department
Our Imaging & Diagnostics service sits at the heart of the patient journey and plays a critical role in ensuring patients receive timely, accurate and compassionate care. As one of the first clinical touchpoints, the department supports consultants and multidisciplinary teams by delivering high‑quality diagnostic services in a calm, reassuring environment.
Working collaboratively with clinicians, radiologists, Medical Physics Experts (MPEs), Radiation Protection Advisers (RPAs), and patient administration teams, the service ensures that imaging investigations are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with the highest clinical, regulatory and governance standards. Precision, professionalism and patient comfort underpin everything we do.
