OB are supporting a leading investment firm in London as they continue to expand their R&D and Data capability with the hire of a Senior Data Engineer.
This position sits at the heart of the business, focused on building and scaling a high-performance data platform that underpins critical analytics and research initiatives across the firm.
Responsibilities
* Leading development of the firm’s core data infrastructure
* Driving architectural decisions and engineering standards
* Improving scalability, reliability, and performance of existing systems
* Partnering closely with senior leadership and research teams
* Evaluating and implementing modern data tooling and best practices
Qualifications
* Strong Python and SQL engineering experience
* Snowflake
* DBT
* Airflow
* 5+ years in Data Engineering
* Strong academic background in STEM / Computer Science
Package
Up to £100k base salary + strong guaranteed bonus
Central London (5 days onsite)
