Job purpose
This role is a Procurement generalist position.The purpose of the role is to support the business in optimising the value that can be derived from the supplier base whilst adopting appropriate methods to manage and mitigate associated risks.
Main responsibilities
1. Lead or, occasionally, support full end to end supplier selection exercises for goods and services, working with key stakeholders, across a varied range of direct and indirect spend categories such as IT software licence and support, equipment maintenance and consumables.
2. Negotiate and place contracts with third party suppliers across a diverse range of spend categories.
3. Manage through to resolution commercial and contractual queries with suppliers.
