SEN Graduate Teaching AssistantAre you hoping to build specialist school experience before moving into teacher training, educational psychology, or clinical psychology? Could you support pupils within a resource base and help children with autism and ADHD access learning with greater confidence and consistency?*** SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant *** September 2026 – July 2027 *** £90 - £110 per day *** ‘Good’ primary school, Wolverhampton *** Work within the school’s resource base (Autism & ADHD)The Role: Work within the school’s resource base to support pupils with autism and ADHD through structured 1:1 work, small-group intervention, and classroom support. You will help pupils follow routines, regulate behaviour, access learning, and build confidence, while feeding back clearly to teachers and the SENCO. SEN teaching assistants support teachers to help children with disabilities and special educational needs, and schools are expected to use a graduated approach to identify needs, put support in place, and review impact.The Candidate: You are patient, observant, and able to stay calm in a busy school environment. You communicate clearly, build trust well, and want practical experience supporting pupils with additional needs. This role would suit a graduate who wants hands-on SEN experience in a primary setting before progressing into teaching or psychology-related training.Requirements

* Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
* Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
* Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
* Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
* Career Goals – A desire to train as a teacher or pursue a career in educational or clinical psychology.
